Airport

Granbury takes great pride in its Regional Airport located 2 miles from Historic Downtown Granbury. In 1999, the Aviation Division of the Texas Department of Transportation named the Granbury Airport the "Most Improved Airport of the Year." And more improvements are on the horizon. The current runway of 3,603 feet will be expanded to 5,300 feet to accommodate more corporate aircraft. Plans also include an enterprise park adjacent to the airport as well as other improvements. Congressman Chet Edwards has secured over $2 million for this project, which is expected to commence in 2007.
