Granbury/Hood County Economic Development

The Granbury-Hood County EDC involves city, county, and business leaders working together to attract business activity to the area and facilitate the expansion of existing business which will provide opportunities to our citizenry and support infrastructure improvements while maintaining the essential character of the community and providing more balanced sources of revenue.

The EDC is governed by a 5-member board made up of officials representing the City of Granbury, Hood County, and the public. Two ex-offico members also serve with the board. They represent the Lake Granbury Economic Development Foundation and the Lake Granbury Chamber. A separate community Advisory Board provides leadership and input regarding economic development issues.
